Makerere University, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is implementing a Climate Resilience and Sustainability Collaborative Program. This initiative is being delivered through a consortium of Universities, including the University of Cape Town, University of Cambridge and the University of Ghana. The Program aims to advance Africa’s preparedness for, and response to, climate change by developing a critical mass of thought leaders needed to enhance Africa’s capacity to transition to green economies.
This Program is committed to providing unique opportunities for graduate students and early-career scientists to engage in cutting-edge research and innovation to contribute towards sustainable solutions for climate-related challenges. The Climate Resilience and Sustainability Collaborative Program at Makerere University will offer fully funded scholarships to outstanding young Africans at Master’s, PhD and Post-doctoral level.
